Taytay Powers Up: Private Sector Joins LGU in Exploring Solar Energy Project

Taytay is turning the spotlight on clean energy! In a groundbreaking move toward sustainable development, Amsteel Structures Inc. and Dantru Development Corp. teamed up with the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO) to explore a potential solar energy project that could light up the future of the municipality.

The high-level discussions were led by Sir Aaron Kaw, EVP of Amsteel Structures, and Mary Ann Dizon, highlighting the company’s engineering expertise for renewable energy innovation. Facilitating the collaboration was LEDIPO, under the guidance of Mayor Allan De Leon, with Atty. Dustin Regalado, Cristina F. Gonzales, and the LEDIPO team Meme Borja, Ac Santos and Warren Sedan ensuring seamless coordination.

Joining the talks were Dantru Development Corp. leaders—President Floriendelyn Sibonga, COO Arsenio Robledo Jr., and CFO Rita Sibonga—alongside RPConnect CEO Noubikko Ulanday, exploring how the project can align with Taytay’s vision for green energy, local jobs, and sustainable investment.

The excitement didn’t stop in the conference room. A site visit and ocular inspection followed, led by Ms. Sibonga, the project architect, and Engr. Jojo, assessing the land, technical requirements, and solar installation potential. Drawing on Amsteel’s structural expertise, the team left no stone unturned.

While still in the planning stage, this initiative sends a clear message: Taytay is ready to embrace innovation, green solutions, and opportunities that empower its people. “This is not just about projects—it’s about building a brighter, cleaner, and more sustainable future for Taytayeños,” said Mayor Allan De Leon.
