The Municipality of Taytay, Rizal proudly marks a significant milestone on the international stage as it participates in the prestigious Czech-Philippine Business Forum and the 9th European Regional Assembly of the Knights of Rizal, both held in Prague, Czech Republic.

Held at Hotel Duo in Prague, these landmark events brought together government officials, business leaders, diplomats, and members of the Filipino-European community to foster stronger bilateral relations, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation between the Philippines and the Czech Republic.

Taytay’s participation showcases the municipality’s growing commitment to international engagement, positioning itself as a key player in global discussions on trade, tourism, arts, and local industry development. As the Garment and Woodworks Capital of the Philippines, Taytay highlighted its renowned craftsmanship, entrepreneurial spirit, and rich cultural heritage to an international audience.

“This is a proud moment not just for Taytay, but for the entire country,” said Mayor Allan De Leon. “We are determined to open doors for our local entrepreneurs, artisans, and innovators by forging meaningful partnerships that extend far beyond our borders.”

The international delegation from Taytay was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office, Taytay, through Cristina "Chin" Gonzales, together with Kagawad Tess Arriola, . Their presence at these events aims to:

  • Promote Taytay’s local industries to European investors and stakeholders

  • Explore new markets and trade opportunities

  • Learn best practices in governance, economic strategy, and cultural diplomacy

Special recognition is extended to Mr. Noubikko P. Ulanday for his gracious invitation and for facilitating Taytay’s participation in both the Business Forum and the Knights of Rizal Assembly. His advocacy for bridging international communities has significantly contributed to strengthening ties between the Philippines and the global community.
