Ex&Peace Process Head Ging Deles Endorses Maan Teodoro as Marikina Mayor  

Teresita “Ging” Deles, the first woman Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process and the broker of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB), has endorsed the mayoralty bid of Marikina 1st District Rep. Maan Teodoro, citing her solid track record and clear vision for the city.   “Bilang satisfied Marikina resident, duon ako sa may pinatunayang track record, maaasahang sipag, at kapani- paniwalang vision para sa aming siyudad,” Ms. Deles said in a Facebook post.   “As a resident of Marikina since the early 1980’s, si Maan Teodoro ang iboboto ko bilang susunod na Mayor ng Marikina!” she added in a separate post.   Ms. Deles served as the first woman Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process under the Arroyo administration from 2003 to 2005. She was reappointed to the same post by President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III, serving from 2010 to 2016.  During her tenure, the landmark Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro was signed in 2014, paving the way for the creation of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).   Ms. Deles also shared Rep.
