Crab meat is one of the tastiest delicacies enjoyed by seafood lovers.
If you love sushi, for example, crab stick is one of the staple ingredients. But what if you’re not satisfied with just a small piece of kani?

According to Kuya Kim on Tuesday’s “24 Oras,” it’s the king crab native to the North Pacific Ocean and Bering Sea, which can grow up to 11 kg.
The largest male king crab recorded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration weighed 10.886 kg. The largest female, meanwhile, weighed 4.763 kg.
In the Philippines, the municipality of Caluag in Quezon Province holds a Crab Festival every year.
The celebration includes the Heaviest Crab Contest. This year, Anabella Pareja was hailed the winner with her crab weighing 2.695 kg.
Anabella said she took care of the crab for seven months. She was able to sell it for P1,560.
Meanwhile, the most expensive crab sold at an auction is a snow crab in Tottori, Japan. The buyer paid a total of 5.4 million yen or over P2.1 million.
