Magkakatambal sina Julia Barretto at Diego Loyzaga sa pelikulang Will You Be My Ex?
“I’m so excited to work with Diego because he’s been a friend of mine for a very long time. We worked together twice already on TV when we were younger. This time around, we’re a bit older, more mature and I’m excited to have worked with him in a very interesting story.
“Definitely, I will not say or ask that to anybody, especially a guy whom I got involved with. The relationships I’ve been in the past, it’s clear that we’re better off on separate ways. With others, it works so we support that they try again and it works out. It’s just not the case for me. I’m just very happy now,” makahulugang pahayag ng dalaga.
“I’ll also start working on a new film first week of July. The amount of work I do, I am given the same amount of time to recharge, to reconnect, regroup and really rest. That’s something that I really want to achieve for a long time. At 26, it’s something that I have already. I’ve been able to figure out and at the same time, even if the work can be non-stop for days, then you are given only three days to rest, that’s okay to me I’m still young so kinakaya pa ng endurance ko. Hinahanap pa siya ng katawan ko. So really, no complaints. I’m in a good place and time in my life. I think I’ve already gotten to a point in my life where there’s so much balance,” pagtatapos ng dalaga.
“My brother Marvin, ‘yung sumunod sa akin, said dad’s not doing well. Something’s wrong with him. He had sepsis na pala, but he was home. Parang, he seems lost. He’s not himself,” emosyonal na bungad ni Ariel.
“So we went back to Manila right away, and I got the first flight to Toronto. When I saw him, he was in the ICU na. He was breathing because of the apparatus. I just whispered in his ear, and I said, ‘Thank you dad for everything you’ve done for me, you’ve given me. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of mom. Kung pagod na kayo, magpahinga na kayo.’ That’s all I said,” umiiyak na kwento niya.
“I am who I am because of my dad. My dad brought us up through his actions. Things you take for granted, like basketball games, nando’n siya to support. But he was never the type that would say, ‘I love you’ or ‘I’m proud of you, tama ‘yung ginagawa mo.’ He just shows things through his actions. And I’ve been always like that. I didn’t know I was like that kahit noong nagkaanak na ako. I realize I am my father’s son and I think he brought us up the right way,” paglalahad ng singer. Reports from JCC
